The Forest Conservancy (TFC) is a non-profit, non-government organization. It was incorporated in October 2003 with the goal of promoting effective management and sustainable use of forest resources through identification, planning and implementation of projects aimed at forest conservation and development in the private and public sectors.

  The remaining natural forests of our beautiful land, of which only 88,000 hectares have survived as relatively undisturbed forest cover, are mainly tropical hardwood rain forests that are complex in nature and remote in location. In pursuing its stated goal, TFC will also work towards conservation of forest ecosystems, bio-diversity, protected areas and watersheds by assisting individuals and groups with planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of projects and activities, including afforestation, reforestation, agro-forestry, forest recreation, urban forestry and related subjects.    More >>
